The Hunting Dogs constellation is one of the more modern constellations that didn't come from a myth. Dogs were eventually added to depictions of a constellation called Boötes, and eventually, someone decided to see where they could fit in the sky, giving birth to this constellation.
Asterion trained to be a Saint on Mt. Brocken, Austria by an unknown master. The cloth was likely kept in Sanctuary until a Saint worthy of wearing it was found. He follows the orders of the Pope, and is among the first group of Silver Saints to attack Seiya and his fellow Bronze Saints. His ability to read minds makes Aquila Marin's strategy fail, and he is able to do some damage to Seiya, but Marin is able to clear her mind, and defeat Asterion, telling him to inform the Pope of their deeds. He is not seen again after that, but his grave is shown in the Hades Arc.
Win was the Hound Saint in The Lost Canvas, who had a few appearances in the early manga. He eventually joined on the assault of Hades' Castle, and likely fell in battle.
Special Abilities of Silver Cloth of HoundEdit
The Hound Silver Cloth, while having all of the strength and endurance of a Silver Cloth, has no special traits that make it stand out as a cloth.
Techniques used by Hound SaintsEdit
Asterion uses two major techniques during his various fights.
- Million Ghost Attack: An offensive technique. The user speeds himself up, to the point where it appears there are countless copies of himself. He then strikes the foe, seemingly from all sides.
- Unnamed Mind Reading Technique: Asterion uses an unnamed mind reading ability against Seiya and Marin. He is able to read minds, and therefore, knows what his foe will do as soon as they do. Marin defeated this technique by completely clearing her mind, and defeating Asterion.
