Saturn ( 刻の神サターン Toki no Kami Satān ) is the being behind Pallas' actions thus making him the true primary antagonist in Saint Seiya Omega Season 2. He is the creator of Chrono Tectors and the Great Swords. In order to examine if humanity is worthy to remain on Earth, he became a human boy: Subaru.
History[]
Pre-War with Athena[]
Saturn give Four Heavenly King the great sword
Fearful of humans, who have overcome many Gods in the past, Saturn, the God of Time, desired to conquer Earth. He used Athena's younger sister, Pallas, to get rid of the guardian goddess of Earth first. To ensure that his plans would succeed, he gave each of his Heavenly Kings - Titan, Hyperion, Gallia and Aegaeon - Great Swords and sent them to Earth along with an army of soldiers, called Pallasites, to oversee Pallas' progress.

Awakens[]
Europa - Performing the Ouroboros Ritual to Subaru.
Europe appears and uses the curse laid on the goddesses to drain their Cosmo and pours it on Subaru, who is revealed to be the Pallasites' true master: Saturn.
Europa also reveals his true chronotector cloth that is much superiour than Titan's and Seiya's cloth and cosmo that is able to deflect their punches from his body.Subaru awakens as Saturn, the God of Time and Space, the one who bestowed the Pallasites their Chrono Tectors and Great Swords. Donning his own Chrono Tector, Saturn, accompained by Europe and Mira, reveals that he had descended to Earth and erased his past memories to live among mankind and determine their worthiness. Having regained his former self, he then declares that humanity no longer deserves to remain on the Earth and uses his powers to freeze all of its inhabitants, before retreating to his heavenly palace with Europe and Mira.
Battle Of Saturn Palace[]
Seated on his throne, Saturn attends the arrival of Saints Athena. The Bronze Saints swoop down on him and unable to touch. Saturn wants to finish but Seiya intervenes but does not weight either. Saturn mocks the Omega. Koga then rises. Saturn is aware of the tenacity of the human and the fact that they always repeat the same mistakes. He wants to complete with his sacred sword. Seiya stops the offensive with his Cosmic Star Arrow.Seiya told Koga that Bronze Saints can't defeat Saturn because they still see Subaru. The Power of Omega is useless because it is born out of their desire to help Subaru.Seiya throws himself on Saturn. His Gold Cloth breaks against the attacks of Saturn. He then launches into a final assault and reaches near Saturn. Seiya attack Saturn's holy blade eternal dance with the dagger that is capable of killing gods. He then pierced Saturn with the dagger. Saturn's chronotector started cracking. Saturn then said that the dagger can kill a god but he's the god of time therefore he's indestructible. Seiya moved away from Saturn only to be pierced by Saturn. The Sagittarius cloth retain it's form indicating Seiya's death.
The Gold Cloth of Sagittarius points his arrow at Saturn but the god destroys it. The Bronze Saints are then determined to avenge Seiya. They pounce on Saturn, launching powerful attacks, but Saturn can predict their actions and is protected by energy.
Ryuho, Haruto, Yuna and Soma attack Saturn to protect Eden and Koga. Eden states that the memories of Subaru still exist in Saturn. Saturn wanted to live as a human and sought companions. He asks Pegasus once again to leave the memories of Subaru's friendship. Saturn uses Chrono Eternal Conclusion that freezes time for all the inhabitants of Earth. All the Saints in the temple are defeated and their Cloths destroyed. Saturn is sure of victory and thinks that the disorder in his heart will disappear soon. By Athena on Earth, Koga receives the strength of all his friends.The Crystallization of the Omega around Pegasus allows him to dress a new Cloth .
Saturn says he had nothing to fear from Omega because he knows it too well. To the surprise of the god, his Chronotector is damaged. The Omega seems to know no bounds. The battle rages and protection of both fighters are heavily damaged and eventually are destroyed.
Saturn remembers the heat he felt as Subaru and is nostalgic. In his fight against Koga, he states that the burning fist of the former Saint is back. With the strength of his friends, the Pegasus Ryūsei Ken runs through Saturn who remains amazed by the beauty of the attack.
Post-War with Athena[]
Saturn is injured but can heal at any time as well invoke his new Chronotector. When Kouga deals his final punch Saturn states he wants to keep the wound as a reminder of their battle. He decides to leave Earth to them as they had been able to master the Super power of Omega, but when that power disappears he will return. Koga swears that the Saints will rise again when that day comes. He revives the Equuleus Cloth and leaves and bids farewell to his friends and rivals the Bronze Saints. Now gone, time returns to the frozen people on Earth.

Trivia[]
- While seemingly based on Chronos, the personification of time within Greek mythology, he actually shares the roman name for the titan Cronus, the father of the Greek gods (including Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades to name a few).
- The fault is most likely due to the fact that most modern retellings of the myths often confuse Chronos and Cronus as the same person when they are actual separate individuals.
