Goldy (ゴールディ, Gōrudi) is a giant lion who wears an armor similar to the Gold Cloths and guards the temple of Leo Kaiser.
Overview[]
Andromeda Shun meets Goldy, who is guarding the temple of Leo Kaiser. Then Kaiser orders Goldy to devour Shun, but the lion simply rubbed up against Shun like a friendly kitten. Kaiser says Goldy’s behavior means that Shun could not be someone evil, but he still cannot fully believe his story. Kaiser explained he was attacked before and Goldy enters the temple and returns with Garuda Sukiyo unconscious in his mouth.
When Kaiser prepares to attack Shun, Goldy blocks the energy blast, receiving a wound in his right leg. Kaiser tries to make the lion leave, but Goldie refuses and continues to protect Shun. Kaiser then accepts that the young Saint is not his enemy.
