Cepheus Albiore (ケフェウス星座のアルビオレ, Kefeusu-seiza no Arubiore) is one of Silver Saints and an anime-only character. In the anime, Albiore is the master of Andromeda Shun and Chameleon June, Leda, and Spica. He is the anime counterpart of Cepheus Daidalos.

Appearance[]

Albiore is a young man (although his age is unknown, however, he could be 19 akin his counterpart from the manga), with tanned skin and blond hair, similar to Jabu. He also has blue eyes in a tone similar to his armor. Albiore's hair is longer in the back than in the front, where he wears a high pompadour that falls from behind. The style of his hair is somewhat reminiscent of the "mullet" cut worn by men in the 1980s. Albiore's complexion is also similar to Daidalos's, looking neither too rough nor too delicate, and yet he remains serious. most of the time, he has a more noticeable gesture of kindness than Daidalos's.

Personality[]

Albiore always observed the training of his students and acted as a judge in the fights they fought between them to get the Andromeda Cloth. Albiore had a special fixation on Shun and did not understand why many times he did not fight as he should against his rivals. The relationship he had with his other students is unknown, but it is known that he sacrificed himself to defend them from the Sanctuary.

As with Daidalos, Albiore remains a character very little is known about. What is certain is that he is respected by all his disciples, Shun, June, Spica, and Leda. Albiore is a strict teacher only during training, able to consider the progress of his students objectively, thus he showed a lot of patience when teaching concepts such as the Cosmos. Albiore's wisdom allows him to understand that the Sanctuary is corrupted and takes a position of neutrality in the events that the Sanctuary has against the Bronze Saints, but this attitude is perceived as an act of treason by the false Pope.

Chronology[]

From the beginning, Albiore did not trust the Patriarch and doubted his actions, never answering his calls to join the Sanctuary. Due to his disobedience, Pope Ares (Saga) sent Scorpio Milo and Pisces Aphrodite (in the anime) to gain control of Andromeda Island. Albiore resisted and faced Milo to protect his students. The battle between the two was evenly matched as Albiore's power was almost equal to that of a Gold Saint. So, Aphrodite decided to intervene and attacked the Silver Saint with one of his Royal Demon Roses, weakening him enough to allow Milo to strike him with a deadly blow.

Cloth and Constellation[]

Cepheus is a northern constellation representing the legendary Ethiopian king Cepheus, Cassiopeia's husband and father of Andromeda. It is one of the 88 modern constellations and one of the 48 constellations named by Ptolemy. Cepheus contains two variable stars of special interest in astronomy. δ Cephei is the prototype of the Cepheids, stars whose luminosity varies in a very regular basis and play an important role as distance indicators. Moreover, β Cephei, also called Alfirk-represents a kind of variables that show variations in brightness due to pulsations on the surface. In this constellation also located Cephei and VV Cephei μ, two of the largest stars known. Contrasting characteristics, the system 60 Kruger is formed by two small red dwarf 13 light years distant from the Solar System.
